Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bishop Stang Spartans (North Dartmouth, MA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bishops now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peabody Veterans Memorial for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Archbishop Williams will battle a Tanners squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Bishop Fenwick (Peabody, MA). The Tanners record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Bishop Stang falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-4. Dartmouth won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairhaven (Fairhaven, MA)
