Whitehall-Yearling Rams (Whitehall, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH), 9-5 in a league challenge.

The Rams now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tree of Life Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Whitehall-Yearling will face a Trojans squad coming off a 10-5 league loss to Madison Christian (Groveport, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Bexley falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Lions host Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH) to face the Barons in a Central Buckeye Conference challenge on Monday, April 22. The Barons enter the challenge with a record of 7-5. Buckeye Valley won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH)
