The Bucksport Golden Bucks the visiting Orono Riots softball squad by a final score of 6-2 in Friday's league battle.
The Golden Bucks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Ponies go into the Class C North battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Foxcroft Academy was routed by North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME), 7-5, in a non-league battle.
The Riots now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Foxcroft Academy for a Class C North battle on Wednesday, April 24.
