Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN), 14-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Lake Central will face a Orioles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Center Grove (Greenwood, IN). The Orioles record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Carmel falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Penn (Mishawaka, IN) to face the Kingsmen in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Kingsmen enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Penn won 9-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Noblesville (Noblesville, IN)
