The Gadsden Panthers softball team (Anthony, NM), was routed 18-0 in Friday's league test with the visiting Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM)
Coming up next, the Hawks encounter the Organ Mountain Knights (Las Cruces, NM) in a 5A District 3 test, on Tuesday, April 23. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 18-2 season record. The Knights enter the test with a 14-6 record after their 14-8 league win over Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM).
The Panthers (3-17) will now prepare for their test against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans enter the 5A District 3 test with a 10-10 record. In their last test, Mayfield was routed by Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 14-10, in a league test.
