The Northern Patriots softball team (Owings, MD), was routed 8-4 in Friday's league test with the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD)

Coming up next, the Braves encounter the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland test, on Monday, April 22. Chopticon will attempt to improve on its 15-0 season record. The Hornets enter the test with a 4-6 record after their 24-9 league win over Westlake (Waldorf, MD).

The Patriots (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Urbana tipped North Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 20-0, in a non-league test.
