The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) and the host Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), saw Cooper's softball squad achieve victory over Holy Cross by a count of 12-1.

The Jaguars now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Boone County for a District 33 match on Monday, April 22. Cooper will face a Rebels squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 1-10.

With the loss, Holy Cross falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY) to face the Pandas in a non-league match on Saturday, April 20. The Pandas enter the match with a record of 5-3. Notre Dame Academy won 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Conner (Hebron, KY)
