Spectators at Friday's league match between the Daniel Lions (Central, SC) and the visiting West-Oak Warriors (Westminster, SC), witnessed Daniel's softball squad tip West-Oak by a count of 15-10.

The Lions now sport a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a AAA Region 1 match on Monday, April 22. Daniel will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Crescent (Iva, SC). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-15.

With the loss, West-Oak moves to 12-6 on the season. The Warriors host Westside (Anderson, SC) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, April 22. The Rams go into the match with a record of 6-10. Westside lost 12-2 in their recent league match against Greenwood (Greenwood, SC)
