Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH), 11-4 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Chesapeake for a Ohio Valley challenge on Saturday, April 20. Dawson-Bryant will face a Panthers squad coming off a 7-6 league loss to South Point (South Point, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Gallia Academy falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils host South Point (South Point, OH) to face the Pointers in a Ohio Valley challenge on Monday, April 22.
