In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Deerfield Demons softball team scored a nice 20-8 win over the Rio Vikings.
The Demons (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI). The Pointers come into the non-league match with a 6-0 record.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Williams Bay Bulldogs (Williams Bay, WI) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 23. Rio will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 2-3 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI).
