Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA), 11-3 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vasquez for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Garfield will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Legacy falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Hawthorne won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Centennial (Compton, CA)
