North Sanpete Hawks (Mt. Pleasant, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Hawks now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Emery for a 3A Region 12 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. North Sanpete will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Delta (Delta, UT). The Spartans record now stands at 16-5.

With the loss, Juab falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Wasps travel to Richfield (Richfield, UT) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Region 12 challenge on Monday, April 22. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 4-12. Richfield lost 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Canyon View (Cedar City, UT)
