New Jersey High School Softball - Passaic Valley bounces Lakeland Regional

Passaic Valley Hornets (Little Falls, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), 14-1 in a league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Morris Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Passaic Valley will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ). The Wolfpack record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Lakeland Regional falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ) to face the Patriots in a Big North - Independence challenge on Monday, April 22. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Wayne Hills lost 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Fair Lawn (Fair Lawn, NJ)
