In Friday's non-league match, the host Laurel Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 1-0 win over the Sussex Central Golden Knights.

The Bulldogs (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE). The Raiders come into the Henlopen South match with a 4-2 record.

In their next game, the Golden Knights battle the Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) in a Henlopen North match, on Tuesday, April 23. Sussex Central will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record.
