Pennsylvania High School Softball - Mahanoy Area topped by Marian Catholic

The Marian Catholic softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Mahanoy Area Golden Bears to 0 in the league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Marian Catholic moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The travel to Williams Valley (Tower City, PA) to clash with the Vikings in a Schuylkill II game on Monday, April 22. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 10-2. Williams Valley won 12-0 in their recent league game against Minersville (Minersville, PA)

In their next game, the Golden Bears clash with the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA) in a Schuylkill III game, on Saturday, April 20. Mahanoy Area will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 16-2 league loss to Panther Valley (Lansford, PA).
