The Watertown Indians (Watertown, CT) softball routed the visiting Naugatuck Greyhounds (Naugatuck, CT), 5-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Indians (9-1) will now prepare for their bout against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs go into the Naugatuck Valley - Brass bout with a 3-7 record. In their last bout, Crosby got by Wilby (Waterbury, CT), 24-6, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Naugatuck falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Pomperaug won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Bunnell (Stratford, CT)
