North Carolina High School Softball - West Brunswick gets by New Hanover

The West Brunswick Trojans got by the host New Hanover Wildcats softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Friday's league battle.
The Trojans (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Screaming Eagle go into the Mideastern 3A/4A battle with a 1-17 record. In their last battle, Ashley was edged by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 11-3, in a league battle.
The Wildcats now sport a 0-14 record. They play next when they travel to North Brunswick for a Mideastern 3A/4A battle on Tuesday, April 23.
