The Wildcats now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Crossing for a Ohio Capital - Buckeye battle on Monday, April 22. Newark will encounter a Comets team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Comets record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Pickerington Central moves to 3-9 on the season. The Tigers host Licking Valley (Newark, OH) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-4. Licking Valley won 7-3 in their recent league game against Licking Heights (Pataskala, OH)
