Sam Rayburn Texans (Pasadena, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pasadena Eagles (Pasadena, TX), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Texans now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kingwood for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 24. Sam Rayburn will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-1 league win over North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 28-7.

With the loss, Pasadena falls to 4-9 on the campaign.
