Indiana High School Softball - Speedway bounces Pike

The Speedway Sparkplugs routed the host Pike Red Devils softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Sparkplugs (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Martinsville (Martinsville, IN). The Artesians go into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Martinsville was routed by Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN), 14-0, in a non-league battle.

The Red Devils now sport a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Terre Haute North Vigo for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Pike will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 6-4.
