In Friday's league contest, the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) softball team held off the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 10-9.

With the triumph, Point Loma moves its record to 11-6 on the year. The Pointers host West Hills (Santee, CA) to clash with the Wolf Pack in a non-league test on Monday, April 22. The Wolf Pack come into the test with a record of 11-7. West Hills lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA)

The Falcons (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Central (El Centro, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 3-11 record.
