Randleman Tigers (Randleman, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Providence Grove for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 23. Randleman will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Trinity (Trinity, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Trinity falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 8-6. Eastern Randolph lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC)
