Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC), 15-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Redhawks now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Airport for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Westwood will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, River Bluff falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Gators host Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC) to face the Silver Foxes in a AAAAA Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Silver Foxes enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. Dutch Fork won 14-13 in their recent league challenge against Chapin (Chapin, SC)
