The Spooner Rails softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting St. Croix Falls Saints to 6 in the Rails league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Spooner improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Rails travel to Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a Heart O'North game on Monday, April 22. The Lumberjacks come into the game with a record of 0-9. Ladysmith lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (Chetek, WI)

In their next game, the Saints clash with the Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 22. St. Croix Falls will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 3-6 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Hayward (Hayward, WI).
