In Friday's league test, the Warren/Stockton Warhawks (Warren, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL), by a tally of 22-11.

Next, the Warhawks meet the Galena Pirates (Galena, IL) in a NUIC West test, on Tuesday, April 23. Warren/Stockton will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 6-6 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL).

The Thunder (0-13) will now prepare for their test against River Ridge/Scales Mound (Hanover, IL). The Wildcats go into the NUIC West test with a 0-12 record. In their last game, River Ridge/Scales Mound was routed by Eastland (Lanark, IL), 11-1, in a non-league game.
