The Marengo Indians baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Harvard Hornets to 1 in the Indians league win on Saturday.

The Indians now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Johnsburg for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Marengo will clash with a Skyhawks team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 13-4.

With the defeat, Harvard drops to 4-12 on the year. The Hornets host Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL) to clash with the Thunder in a Kishwaukee River test on Monday, April 21. The Thunder go into the test with a record of 5-8. Woodstock North lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL)
