In Saturday's league game, the host Vermont Academy Wildcats baseball team scored a close 7-2 win over the Holderness Bulls.
The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Brewster Academy National (Wolfeboro, NH). The Bobcats go into the Lakes Region game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Brewster Academy National nudged St. Paul's (Concord, NH), 7-6, in a league game.
Next, the Bulls play the Kimball Union Academy Wildcats (Meriden, NH) in a Lakes Region game, on Wednesday, April 23. Holderness will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 3-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to St. Paul's (Concord, NH).
