Nevada High School Baseball - Mineral County wallops Virginia City

The crowd at Saturday's league battle between the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) and the host Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV), saw Mineral County's baseball team gain a win over Virginia City by a tally of 14-3.

The Serpents (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers enter the 1A Northern battle with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, Virginia City was overwhelmed by Excel Christian (Sparks, NV), 9-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Muckers face the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) in a 1A Northern test, on Saturday, April 19. Virginia City will attempt to better on its 2-15 season record. The Serpents go into the test with a 10-8 record after their 23-6 non-league win over Lee Vining (Lee Vining, CA).
