The Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) baseball trounced the visiting San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA), 14-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West for a Bay challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Mira Costa will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 7-6 league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-13.

With the defeat, San Pedro drops to 9-13 on the year. The Pirates host Carson (Carson, CA) to clash with the Colts in a Marine challenge on Monday, April 28. The Colts go into the challenge with a record of 10-12. Carson lost 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Clovis North (Fresno, CA)
