The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) and the visiting Moline Maroons (Moline, IL), saw Normal University's baseball team get by Moline by a tally of 3-2.

The Pioneers (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Titans enter the Central State Eight battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Glenwood held off Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Maroons face the Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) in a Western Big Six battle, on Monday, April 21. Moline will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 6-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL).
