The St. Bernard Saints baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting New London Whalers to 4 in the Saints league win on Saturday.
The Saints now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Norwich Free Academy for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. St. Bernard will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 5-2 league win over Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, New London drops to 0-3 on the year. The Whalers host Putnam (Putnam, CT) to clash with the Clippers in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Clippers go into the test with a record of 1-3.
