The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Branham Bruins to 1 in the Monarchs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Monarchs now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bellarmine College Prep for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 19. Archbishop Mitty will play a Bells team coming off a 2-0 league win over St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Bells record now stands at 22-5.

With the loss, Branham drops to 15-9 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Monterey (Monterey, CA) to play the Dores in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 19. The Dores come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Monterey lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Hollister (Hollister, CA)
