In Saturday's non-league bout, the Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Annapolis Cougars (Dearborn Heights, MI), by a tally of 16-6.
Next up, the Trojans encounter the Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI).
The Cougars (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Romulus (Romulus, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Romulus topped Thurston (Redford, MI), 10-5, in a non-league test.
