The Yreka Miners baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Enterprise Hornets to 2 in the Miners non-league win on Saturday.

The Miners now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lassen for a test on Tuesday, April 22. Yreka will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 5-3 league win over Etna (Etna, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-8.

With the defeat, Enterprise drops to 0-12 on the year. The Hornets host Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a test on Tuesday, April 29. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 13-9. Red Bluff won 13-4 in their recent non-league test against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA)
