The Stevenson Spartans baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Walled Lake Central Vikings to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.
The Spartans now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Churchill for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Stevenson will play a Chargers team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Milford (Highland, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 7-5.
With the defeat, Walled Lake Central drops to 0-5 on the year. The Vikings host Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, April 21. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 3-1. Walled Lake Western won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Stevenson (Livonia, MI)
