The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) and the visiting Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), observed Fernley's softball team notch a victory over Spring Creek by a tally of 11-0.

The Vaqueros (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, North Valleys was routed by Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV), 13-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a bout, on Friday, April 25. Spring Creek will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Greenwave go into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 12-7 league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
