The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) and the visiting Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, WV), observed Williamstown's softball team get by Buffalo by a final score of 5-3.
The Yellowjackets (8-15) will now prepare for their bout against Webster County (Upper Glade, WV). The Highlanders go into the Little Kanawha bout with a 0-8 record. In their last bout, Webster County by Roane County (Spencer, WV), 15-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Bison battle the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Buffalo will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 10-2 non-league win over Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).
