In Saturday's non-league test, the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), by a tally of 14-2.

Next, the Bruins meet the North Hardin Trojans (Radcliff, KY) in a District 17 test, on Monday, April 21. Central Hardin will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Trojans go into the test with a 10-6 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY).

The Bears (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Muhlenberg County was routed by Ohio County (Hartford, KY), 3-2, in a league test.
