Montana High School Softball - Capital knocked off by Russell

The Russell Rustlers overwhelmed the visiting Capital Bruins softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rustlers meet the Sentinel Spartans (Missoula, MT) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 19. Russell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 11-1 league win over Hellgate (Missoula, MT).

The Bruins (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Skyview (Billings, MT). The Falcons go into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Skyview was routed by Billings Senior (Billings, MT), 10-0, in a league challenge.
