The Jal Panthers softball team scored 1 runs and held the host Dora Coyotes to 0 in the Panthers league win on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dexter for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Jal will encounter a Demons team coming off a 15-0 league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Demons record now stands at 17-1.
With the loss, Dora moves to 0-8 on the season. The Coyotes host Loving (Loving, NM) to encounter the Falcons in a A/2A District 4 battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 14-6. Loving won 20-2 in their recent league battle against Eunice (Eunice, NM)
