Oregon High School Softball - Elkton bested by Yoncalla

The Yoncalla Eagles triumphed over the visiting Elkton Elks softball squad by a count of 28-5 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 challenge, on Wednesday, April 23. Yoncalla will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.

The Elks (0-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Lowell (Lowell, OR). The Devils enter the 2A/1A-SD5 Special District 5 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Lowell overcame Oakridge (Oakridge, OR), 14-13, in a league challenge.
