The Freeport Pretzels softball squad (Freeport, IL), was routed 23-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host West Carroll Thunder (Savanna, IL)
With the triumph, West Carroll improves its record to 4-12 on the year. The Thunder host Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL) to face the Raiders in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 19. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 2-14. Ashton-Franklin Center lost 7-4 in their recent non-league contest against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL)
The Pretzels now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Guilford for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 contest on Monday, April 21. Freeport will face a Vikings squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 5-8.
