The Goodrich Martians softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Rockford Rams to 1 in the Martians non-league win on Saturday.

The Martians now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandon for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Goodrich will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Lake Fenton (Linden, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Rockford moves to 3-3 on the season. The Rams travel to East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI) to confront the Falcons in a Ottawa-Kent - Red battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 0-1.
