The crowd at Saturday's league bout between the Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR) and the host Phoenix Pirates (Phoenix, OR), observed Henley's softball team prevail over Phoenix by a tally of 13-5.

The Hornets (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR). The Pelicans go into the 4A Skyline bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Klamath Union was routed by Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 11-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Mazama Vikings (Klamath Falls, OR) in a 4A Skyline bout, on Wednesday, April 23. Phoenix will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Modoc (Alturas, CA).
