Knoxville Blue Bullets (Knoxville, IL) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), 21-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Knoxville upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Blue Bullets host Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL) to play the Grey Ghosts in a non-league game on Monday, April 21. The Grey Ghosts enter the game with a record of 10-6.

The Rebels now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Princeville for a Lincoln Trail game on Friday, April 25.
