West Virginia High School Softball - Ritchie County succumbs to Nicholas County

April 19, 2025: Ellenboro, WV 26346

In Saturday's non-league test, the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) softball squad overwhelmed the host Ritchie County Rebels (Ellenboro, WV), by a tally of 22-5.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 21. Nicholas County will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record.

The Rebels (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Big Reds go into the non-league test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Parkersburg was routed by Cabell Midland (Ona, WV), 18-3, in a league test.
