The Alexandria Valley Cubs baseball team (Alexandria, AL), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL)
The Bulldogs now hold a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ohatchee for a 3A Area 11 outing on Tuesday, April 5. Piedmont will confront a Indians team coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Indians record now stands at 7-10.
Next, the Valley Cubs confront the Moody Blue Devils (Moody, AL) in a 5A Area 11 outing, on Tuesday, April 5. Alexandria will attempt to advance on its 12-11 season record. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a 11-13 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to Bayside Academy (Daphne, AL).
