In Saturday's non-league game, the host Bearden Bulldogs baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Cookeville Cavaliers.
The Bulldogs (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Jets go into the non-league game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Cumberland County overcame Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN), 15-1, in a non-league game.
The Cavaliers (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Maryville (Maryville, TN). The Red Rebels go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Maryville overcame Bearden (Knoxville, TN), 5-2, in a league game.
