The Montgomery Bell Academy Big Red baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Centennial Cougars to 1 in the Big Red non-league victory on Saturday.
The Big Red (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN). The Mustangs go into the D II-AA Middle match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Lipscomb Academy gained a win over Franklin Road Academy (Nashville, TN), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Cougars (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Franklin (Franklin, TN). The Admirals go into the 4A District 11 match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Franklin gained a win over Columbia Central (Columbia, TN), 8-4, in a non-league match.
