The Choctaw County Chargers baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Philadelphia Tornadoes to 4 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Eupora (Eupora, MS). The Eagles go into the 2A Region 4 match with a 4-16 record. In their last match, Eupora was overwhelmed by West Point (West Point, MS), 13-2, in a non-league match.
The Tornadoes (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Lake (Lake, MS). The Hornets go into the 2A Region 4 match with a 14-3 record. In their last match, Lake was overwhelmed by Pisgah (Sandhill, MS), 14-2, in a non-league match.
